Unlike the fully unlocked ROG Ally Extreme GPU, which uses the same GPU but has all 768 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the ROG Ally GPU to reach the product's target shader count.

AMD includes 16 GB LPDDR5 memory, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1500 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2500 MHz, memory is running at 1600 MHz.
